The Northern Edge 49° 59

Spring is ending
Posted by: plapman, 12:20 PM GMT on March 13, 2007 +0
Today will become cloudy with 30 % chance of showers this morning. The northwesterly wind @ 30 km/h will become light this morning. The high is the current temp of 3 (37f) with the temperature falling to -1 (30f) by noon. Tonight it will clear and an overnight low of -8 (18f) is predicted.
Yesterday we broke a record for high with 12 (54f) being recorded. The previous March 12 high record was 11.
My mother came home yesterday. When I went to visit in the evening she was predictably in a better frame of mind than at the hospital.

Hi Hon, so glad to hear that your mom is home. Yes that will definitely put her in better spirits just being with her family. Nice temps we got up there too, today its suppose to go up into the low 60s here then back down a bit tomorrow to high 40s and low 50s. Typical spring weather..I am sure Buck is enjoying these days of sunchine and warmer temps as well when he goes for his romps. Have a great dear friend. Keep safe and well.

Good Day Frozencanuck
Buck does enjoy the warm days but gets into trouble with the wife when I bring him home. It's hard to understand how he gets his belly so wet and dirty when it's so far off the ground. I'll have to borrow a set of mud flaps from the truckers for him. lol
Have a good day

Not quite, Winter is giving us a smack on our head after he smelled a nice aroma of Spring (which icludes severe thunderstorms in the package). Detroit (and probably you are in it Canuck) are borderlined and under the 30% area for Severe Weather tomorrow. However, the treat is the mear 70F temps and sunshine were getting today.

Yes Freeck it sure looks nice here today. Sun is shining adn folks are running around in light jackets and sweaters. Its a bit to early for me to be doing that but I have not had to wear a winter coat yet this year so I guess it has not been a bad winter for me.

+10C down here today,Tony.A repeat of yesterday and we're enjoying every moment of it.
Rain to move in tonight for the rest of the week but temps will be around +10.Guess we'll have to settle for that.

Have a good one,
