By: plapman , 12:35 PM GMT on January 24, 2012

Today wil start mainly cloudy with a 30% chance of flurries this morning then clearing this afternoon. Todaays hgh -2C(28F).
Tonight will be clear with a low of -9C(15F).

The last cjocolate cake is gone. The great grandaughters wanted a bedtime snack but no cake. Poor girls. :) Grandpa had to promise to make another one today before they'd go to bed for mom. I think the stay at grandpa's bakery will spoil them.:) Mom will have to start baking chocolate cakes.
I guess with my case of shingles I'll be able to add a roofing business to my enterprizes.
Abbey and me stayed home yesterday due to the windchills but it sounds like we'll be able to get out along the gopher trails today while the Queen goes back o work.
The Queen sure is having problems with her laptop on her geneaology project. The mouse keeps freezing. I think she's gathered too much information and needs more memory as the app works fine on my computer. I'll have to do a complete backup to and external drive before we take to the shop for an upgrade.
Portage is currently gearing up for the Scotties Tournement of Hearts which is the Canadian ladies curling championships. It will sure boost the tourism industry here.

Tony, sounds like she may need a new mouse. I have had problems in the past with old ones and after replacing them, (they are cheap) found the problem corrected. I am sure you will find and fix the problem for her....BTW, I love my little ZIP drives for backups. Takes only a couple of min to backup alot of files and they are so much more efficient than CDs. I paid 7.99 for each ZIP I got so I have more than enough space to keep important files and pictures. The best ZIPS are by HP, faster and better made, they are a bit more expensive but worth the price.

Overcast here today, cooler and still windy. Another warm up coming on Thurs...Ah the green green grass of home.... Have a great day Tony. Hope you and Abbey make it out for your walk.
