It was a quiet do nothing much on the prairie day yesterday. I did get my desk light repaired though and also got Abbey out for her daily walk.
The Queen is off for the weekend, I'm sure she'll keep me busy.

Good Afternoon Tony!

It's a dreary premiere to October in Mass. today and hubby and I have just returned from having our annual flu shots. At this stage of our lives, and with all that's happened in the past four years, we can't be too careful.

Glad to hear that you successfully fixed your attachable desk lamp yesterday and took a nice jaunt with Abbey. Hope your weekend will provide you and the Queen with some pleasant relaxing moments together, since she has it off from work.

Inspite of our current forecast, it's nice to see that your temps are in the sixties today as well. It certainly makes any gloomy skies with rainy spells a bit more bearable. I don't think any of us in the Northeast and Canada are looking forward to a return to those arctic chills and snow. UGH! In the meantime, HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND AND FALL SEASON!

Good morning Tony, yesterday was my do nothing day too so this morning I will have to scramble to tidy up. Thank goodness this is not a big home...LOL I slept well last night. Stripped the bed yesterday and washed everything so it was nice and fresh. Also had the furnace running all night. Its a bloody 56F this morning. Looks like its off to a cool start for the wknd and work week with temps only going into the low 60s as a daytime high with you guessed it, rain....LOL Don't ya just love fall. Well Oct has arrived and before long so will those white things that fall out of the sky. Now to win that Lotto Max so we can all go south during those cold months...heee heee hee.

Have a great day dear one.
