What a great trip I had. The time spent re bonding with my 2 daughters was fabulous.
I loved Newfoundland. The scenery and especially the people there. If you met a complete stranger on the street and said good morning or giday it turned into a conversation. I met with Incogkneetoe at Bay Roberts and tried to convince him to come back to WU but no luck. His super photo's are now on FB.My daughter drove us there and I had my other daughter , a grand daughter and grandson with me. I was welcomed with my family and made to feel as if I had known him for years.he sure has a beautiful place!
I'll get some photo's posted as soon as I get them sorted out. Though I never got Screeched in I did get very intimate with a cod. One day I had a codtonuge meal and you can't get closer than having the cod's tongue in your mouth.

Good Morning Tony ~ Glad you made it home safely after spending an enjoyable vacation with loved ones in parts of Newfoundland! We look forward to those selected pics you post of this memorable event.

I can't imagine how an outsider could adapt to some of the offered "Newfie" cuisine. I wouldn't mind eating the so called meat of certain types of cooked fish but any of their other parts ... NO THANKS!!! LOL! I always recall a very funny scene, in the "Newfie" based movie, "The Shipping News", regarding the harsh reaction by the main character to eating one of their strange or revolting seafood dishes called, "Flipper Pie". Ewwwww! Don't even want to know what type of flipper was used!!! LOL!!

Sadly, I guess someone or thing spooked Gary off of WU awhile back. His affable "Newfie" nature and talented photography skills will continue to be missed around here. Glad there are WU members, like yourself, who also use Facebook and can report back as to his whereabouts and doings from time to time.

All 'n all, I bet it must feel great to be back in your own comfy bed, in your own home, with your beloved Queen, Abbey and Kramer again!

Good morning Tony, so happy you arrived home safe and sound. Yes I am sure it was quite an adventure for you sight seeing and getting to enjoy Gary's wonderful humor and hospitality. He truly is one of a kind. Folks on the Rock just happen to be some of the nicest people around too. In time of air disasters, they were the ones to always open their homes to strangers, you will find that with most of the East coasters. Strong, determined hardy folks with hearts as big as the ocean that laps at their shores.

I bet Abbey was happy to see her "daddy" too. I am sure she will be dragging you out for a nice long walk today weather permitting and even Kramer I am sure, aloof at first will have showed his affection in seeing you home. Now as for the Queen, she was probably settling in nicely to being alone for a bit but was happy to see you too. So glad all went so well for you.

Have a great Wednesday, enjoy your time back.
