Retired and loving it. If I'd have known about retirement befor I started my 40 year career with the government of Manitoba I'd have retired first. :)

Today will start sunny but becoming s mix of sun and cloud later this morning. The wind becoming southwest 20at km/h (12 mph) this afternoon. Todays high is expected to be 31C(88F).
Tonight will be partly cloudy with the risk of a thunderstorm this evening. The southwest wind at 20 km/h (12 mph) becoming light early this evening as the overnight low drops to 16C(61F).
The carpet is dry this morning. When the Queen got up I pulled out the shop vac and only got about 3 gallons of water from it. With the windows open and a fan circulating the air the old indor-outdoor carpet drys quickly.
I'll have to get Abbey out early today or she'll overheat while on her prairie dog hunt.
The Queen met with her supervisors yesterday and for now is on a 2 month leave of absense.Talking to her after the meeting We decided that my health will be the factor on her decision to go back or not.
It's going to take some adjusting to live together. Shortly after we got married I started working out of town and was home only weekends. When I was shifted to an office job she started working and was away most evenings. We've always joked that the seperation is what has kept us together.
