The son-in-law never made it over yesterday as he's back at work till Sunday. On Sunday him and the family attend church and it's his day of rest. I guess I won't get any work done on the basement till next week. I never realized how much I depended on the downstairs washroom till now that IdOn't have it.
I was proud of myself yesterday. I took the 3 year old taps off of the old sink for reuse and found I was missing a washer that holds them down.
I got and piece of aluminum and cut a new one. It's about an inch and half in diameter an has a notch cut in it for the pipe. When I had done the manufacturing process it actually fit. I thought it pretty good for s legally blind man. When the Queen came home and I showed her she scolded me for using power tools which I'm not supposed to use by orders from my neurologist due to the vision problems and rat poison I'm taking. She says if I cut myself badly while I'm home alone she'll find me on the floor in a pool of blood.
I added a Maploco visitor map to the blog yesterday as the revolver map doesn't seem to be picking up any hits. The maploco seems to be working.
I got a call from my doctor yesterday saying my INR levels were too high now and to skip a couple of days and visit the vampires again on Tueday. They sure are having a hard time getting it regulated since the vitamin K shot on the Easter hospital visit. The Queen is having concerns about the labs reliability. They messed up a while ago and were giving INR results that were too high and it took 6 weeks before the error was caught.
It makes you wonder how many people suffered strokes from the error.

Hi, We almost got rain today. The system dried up when it hit the heat from the metro-plex.

Yeah, best to stick with the hand tools (and not the sharp ones). Was fortunate to have a finger sewn back on to where it still works after trying to cut some rope in a wet dimly lit place.

Then there are these cool stripes evenly spaced along my forearm from a bouncing disc grinder done in a dimly lit space too.

So, if you are going to play with the dangerous toys, make sure there is someone there to help if things go sideways. Lecture done. (Good job on making a workable collar washer though)

Sometimes we guys gotta press on and do stuff others say can be potentially harmful, don't we? ;-) I know the Queen thinks you are endangering yourself by doing stuff she thinks you can seriously harm yourself with, but I think walking several miles a day on the sidewalk isn't perfectly safe, either, given all the quality drivers on the road today, lol!

I guess the point I'm trying to make is that you aren't as helpless as the Queen and others may make you out to be. However, some respect to the Queen needs to be given, too, you can't do just whatever you feel like doing. She has a lot of her invested in you, and doesn't want to lose you(Even though sometimes she may feel like wringing your neck, lol!).

Hope you have a nice day out, and by the way, nice job on the washer! ;-)

Good morning Tony, my light flashed on your map...LOL Seems I am the only one so far. Have not checked mine yet but will see if its starting to work correctly. May take a day or two for it to work with their time zone. We will see.

You are up and about early this morning and so am I...just fed the cat, opened all the windows so fresh air can come in. Looks like it will be a nice day with temps reaching up to 80F today here and lots of sunshine. Just waiting now for the dew to burn off the lawn before I go out and cut the grass. We may see rain tomorrow so it needs to be done today.

Well dear one, have a great day, hope you get your bathroom up and working again soon. Enjoy your Saturday.
