I had my blog all ready to post and suddenly it disappeared. I must have hit the wrong key I guess.
The basement washroom renovations are proceeding slowly. The son-in-law is doing it in his spare time. He works as a diesel mechanic full time and has a home business repairing cars for regular customers.
He's currently rebuilding a motor for a customer and can only work on it on dry days as he has no shop. The basement he's doing on wetter days and he won't let me help much for fear I'll overdo it.The man sure has a full plate when you consider he has 3 sons to help with too.
The daughter picked a winner when she married him.
Abbey and me just got back from our walk this morning while it was cool. Even with temps around 70 and her daily dip in the ditch she comes home panting.
The Queen works mid shift, 11-7) and when asked what she wanted to eat when she gets home she said just soup and a sandwich. That makes it pretty easy for me.
Strangely all my keys seem to be working today. I don't know what the glitch was

Hi, Abbey sure would not like it down here right now.

It was 103f on our porch when I got up this afternoon.

Roxie just does her business and then flops down in the nearest shade refusing to move unless I say we are going back in the house.

It's only June!

Good Afternoon Tony!

You know, I don't think it's so much about your computer malfunctioning as it is the WU web and blogsites themselves. I've been having a "Dickens" of a time lately with disappearing graphics, posts and, on some blogs, scrambled pages with absent buttons for BOLD, ITALIC, LINK AND IMAGES. Sadly, the same thing's happening when I revert to the Classic Wunderground as well. I think the tech people are tinkering around trying to work out certain glitches but are creating more in the process. So frustrating!!!

I like the new visitor's globe you've added to your header, but it's not showing people's towns or cities just yet. I noticed that Alley's inserted globe is having the same problem. Again, I believe this has more to do with the current glitches connected to WU than anything you've been doing. You and Alley have more computer savy than the entire WU tech team. Hope this all straightens out before too long, as I would hate to see any more WU blogging buddies leave or give up in frustration (as some already have). BOO-HISS!

Glad your son-in-law's a real decent chap and has volunteered to help you and the Queen, when able, remodel your basement's bathroom. That certainly makes for a dandy Father-in-law's Day present!! LOL!! Nice, too, to have loved ones around who're looking out for your best interests.

Hope your weather holds up nicely for a relaxing and enjoyable weekend. We're currently vacillating between sunny and hot (86F degrees) one day and cool, damp and chilly (68F degrees) the next. It's looking to be one of those iffy summers again.

Ooooh, I hate that when it happens! I've lost a blog entry when I tried to post it, and let me tell you, I was beside myself! A lot of folks write their blogs on wordpad or notepad and then copy/paste on the blog for this reason.
You are blessed to have a good man for a son-in-law. People like that are getting harder to find anymore.
Enjoy the rest of your day!
