Today will bring showers with risk of a thunderstorm. Amount 5 to 10 mm(0.2 to 0.4 in). The wind will be from the southeast at 20 km/h (12 mph) increasing to 40 km/h (25 mph) gusting to 60 km/h (37 mph) early this morning then becoming light late this afternoon. High 22C(72F).
Tonight will start cloudy with a40% chance of showers this evening and risk of a thunderstorm then clearing late this evening with an overnight low of 16C(61F).
The hideabed move went unexpectedly well for both my nieghbor and me. He brought his 20 year old son over to help him and my granddaughter had her boyfriend over for a visit. the 2 young fellows carried the thing up the stairs and out to the curb while me and the nieghbor directed them on the best way to do it. When it was safely on the curb for garbage pickup I commented "Thats what young fellows are made for."

I later fried up the BBQ and did some steaks for the granddaughter, boyfriend and the Queen and me.
Today I start purging my body for the flashlite and camera thing tommorrow. I hope thier camera is smaller than my old Sony video camera. I guess I won't make the blog tomorrow as the prcedure is supposed to start at 8am.
The surgeon recommended I stay very close to a washroom after taking the laxitives so I guess me and Abbey will be grounded today.
Yesterday I stopped, with Abbey, at a nieghbor's a few doors down from me and showed off her talents. HHis wife has one of those small yappy dogs and won't put a coller or choke chain on it saying it might hurt it's neck. The neighbor commented that Abbey had both on her. I use the choke chain because its easy to take off and put on. I took the coker off and Abbey stayed at my side. The nieghbor said if he did that the little dog of his would be off and running. When it was time to leave I held up the choker and told Abbey to put her head in it. Like I've trained her to do she puts her nose in the loop and I pull the rest around her neck. He was amazed at how smart and obediant she is.
Abbey and me have spent alot of time together training her and she picks up new orders quickly.

Mornin Tony, another procedure by my calculation you will have assumed the 'positon' about now. Dosen't sound as if you are missing any walking time due to the weather, tomorrow will be business as usual.
Am hearing that the GRAND MANAN ADVENTURE has requested a pilot for St. John Harbour for 24 JUN an indicator she is on time. As of this hour no word to think the GRAND MANAN V is further delayed, by the weekend things should be looking up.
Stay dry and near the loo.

Good morning Tony, gonna warn you that the stuff you have to take to purge you tastes like hell, so if you have tequila or vodka, I would add the whole bottle to it...ROFLMBO. And yes, no walks today unless you carry a port-a-pot with ya...heee heee heee. I should laugh, my metformin does the same darn thing to me so either I hold off taking it when I have to go out or wait 'til its done its deed.

Before I forget, tomorrow will be toot day after the procedure. You have to expel the air they insert so they can look...LOL

Glad to hear you had some young lads around to do the grunt work for ya when it came to removing the sofabed. Now if they would only cut the grass for ya too...

Well time to do the laundry so I guess I will close for now. Have a great day dear one. Lots of sunshine here today with temps remaining in the 70s till the end of the month...Hurrah!!!!!

I think Ylee's right. A lot of dogs aren't properly trained - not because the dogs couldn't do it, but because the owners are lazy.

Even cats can be trained. Dixie Rose clearly knows the word "no!" and she knows there are certain places she's welcome to go, and places she doesn't belong. I've been lucky, because she's never had a tendency to jump on counters, etc., and she isn't one bit interested in human food, but when she makes a run for someplace like the top of the sofa, all I have to do is say her name. If that doesn't work, even the slightest move toward her sends her scurrying away, back to a more "approved" spot!

Good luck with your procedure tomorrow - but even more good luck with your day today!

The laxatives... the worst part of the entire picture taking process. Tomorrow will be a much better day, at least in the late afternoon after you are home and relaxing. Then you and Abbey can hit the pavement once again.

Another extremely hot day here with no rain. Could you please send some of your moisture down this way.

On to week four of the Casey Anthony trial. The Proesecuters will finish with their case the end of this week and then we get to see what the Defense has to offer.

I'd say the little yapper might learn a thing or two if it did have the choker on. Abbey showed her intelligence and your dedication and good training to those folks; I don't know those people, but I have a feeling they weren't interested into teaching the little yapper anything, and in doing so makes life a lot more difficult for them and their dog.
I wish you well on tomorrows' procedeure. I don't envy you one bit. If the laxative gives you discomfort, all I can say is, well, it'll pass. ;-)
Take care!
