Abbet and me are back to our regular routine of a 2.5 mile walk a day. She loves her free run hunting gophers. I haven't seen her catch any yet but the young ones should be out soon. They make easy pickings for her.
The Queen didn't get much sleep last night. The 2 ggranddaughters are here for a sleepover and didn't want to go to bed then about 3am they woke and started crying. The Queen had to get up and tend to them.

Good morning Tony. Hope the Queen is able to catch up on a little sleep this morning otherwise it won't be a very good Mother's Day for her. Thank goodness for GG-mothers.

Looks like we are in for a few days of nice sunny weather with temps in the mid to high 60s. Love this kind of weather. The lad came later yesterday afternoon and rolled the front and back yards so no more trying to mow a plowed field...LOL Don't think it had been done in years and it was a rough ride on the mower. The front was not as bad but he had the obstacle course to run around the cedars I planted...Hee Heee Heee..He did a great job anyway.

Well dear one, time to grab a coffee and get a bit of breakfast. Have a wonderful day and remember to treat the Queen extra special on Mother's Day. Give her that extra hug today.

Good Morning Tony!

What a loving tribute you left to your special Queen on my blog site this morning! She most definitely defines the characterization of a "loving and supportive" wife, mother and grandmother! In honor of her Mother's Day celebration, I think the video below is certainly meant for her!! HOPE SHE HAS A WONDERFUL MOTHER'S DAY ALL IN ALL and that your grandkids will allow her enough time to catch up on some sleep, relax and enjoy her special day.

I read on Alley's site that her birthday is this Thursday, May 12th. My hubby's is the following day, Friday, May 13th. What a close coincidence! LOL! Guess some special birthday graphics will be in order this week!

FOR YOUR QUEEN!

P.S. Glad to hear that you don't live close enough to those flood zoned areas of La Prairie and that you can resume taking more comfortable daily walks with Abbey, while she frolicks around looking for gopher holes!

Mornin' Plap! I'm sure whoever owns the ground Abbey hunts on appreciates her cleaning out the gophers. Those things can be destructive.

This is for the Queen; I hope she has a relaxing day today!
