Thanks for your interesting post on my site this am regarding the 1976 flood of the Assinaboine River in or around Portage. We, in Methuen, MA, can relate to the occasional flooding of our Merrimack River, in spite of a few dams, etc. which extend along its ten plus miles length throughout the region. The most contentious spot nearby is our Spicket River and Falls (which is an off-shoot of the Merrimack). This travels against or close to many neighboring homes and buildings which have been severely damaged by the outcome of these recent past floods. The past five years of intermittent destructive weather systems has certainly been a most costly proposition for home and business owners to boot!

Good morning! I didn't know Canada's flag was anything besides what you have now! What did it used to look like?
I see you are having another mild day, as are we. Take care, as your webcams still show slush.
Have a good day!

Good morning Tony. Looks like another cold sunny day for us today. Was 20 degrees colder here this morning than yesterday at this time. Oh well at least the wind died down some and the sun is shining. Can't wait for those 50s and 60s to come along and remain.

Your lucky to have a dog like Abby. They sense when they are needed and will stick to you like butter to toast.

Have a wonderful day dear one. You will have to let me know how that bison roast turns out.
