Todaywill be cloudy with a 60% chance of flurries. The wind becoming north at 20 km/h (12 mph) near noon. The high for today will be -7C(19F).
Tonight will remain cloudy with a 30% chance of flurries this evening. The North wind at 20 km/h (12 mph) becoming light this evening as the low drops to -13C(8F).

I cleared the driveway again yesterday and a path for the mailperson to cut across my lawn. While there I did the neighbors drive too. It only added another 5 minutes to the task. Winter hasn't really started yet and I tired of snow already. Only another 5 months to go!

Good Afternoon Tony!

Well, gauging from your basement window, it currently looks like you have visitors today! Hope you're not feeling too tired to enjoy the company of family and friends right now. Snow-blowing can be laborious work and the day after always creeps up on one. **hint** **hint**! LOL!

Today, we're experiencing a possibly final mild day with temps of 57F!! Wish it could last throughout the winter months, but I'm glad that no snow now seems emanate once the seasonable cold front moves back in later tonight.

I'm with Surfie about creating a countdown to Spring!! All I want for the holidays and beyond is NATURAL warmth!

For each new morning with its light,
For rest and shelter of the night,
For health and food, for love and friends,
For everything Thy goodness sends.

And at 4:47 it's still dark. I'm up because a fire alarm went off - no fire, thank goodness. Now, I believe I'll go back to bed for a bit, since everything seems ok at your place, too.

Good Afternoon Tony!

Well I guess the general concensus is in; we're only two-thirds into the fall season. and most everyone hates winter already!!!! LOL! Sorry that the grandkids aren't into making snow-huts or igloos made from snow taken from your driveway or walkway. Is bribery out of the question, too? LOL! Gee, I would think that they'd want to keep Grampa warm and dry after the year you've had! Please don't overdo!!!

Fortunately, we'll be getting Alley's warm spell here tomorrow, although it'll be coupled with some rain. Nevertheless, I'll take a rainstorm as long as it bring temps around and above 60F degrees! Sadly, our usually seasonal chilly reality will be settling back in again by Wednesday and bringing possible snow mixed with rain come Thanksgiving night. I just hope the white stuff will melt once it hits the ground!!

Even though the view through your basement window looks so picturesque, I still wouldn't want to trade places with you. Take care and stay strong!

ROFLMBO..well luv, sounds like you all need to move to my area. Woke up this morning to a balmy 54F with lots of rain. Still raining and temps are to go into the 60s. Guess we just live right down here...heee heee heee or we are so full of hot air that snow can't form...ROFLMBO. Don't wish to see snow for a while yet but alas we may see some on the wknd when temps drop down into the 30s. Never fails, its a rollercoaster ride of temps until the middle of Dec for us. You never know what you will wake up to.

Anyway take care, keep well and keep warm. I will try to stay dry.
