Today will be sunny with a high of 23C(73F).
Tonight will start clear but becoming cloudy periods late this evening. A overnight low of13C(55F) is forecast.
It looks like a nice day but the showers will return tomorrow. A local government district just west of Portage has declared a state of emergency due to local flooding. Roads in the municipality of Westborne are being overtopped and fields are flooded.

The RM of Westbourne has declared a state of emergency.
The call was made after heavy rains have led to flooding in the area. Reeve David Single says things aren't looking good right now, with water covering pretty much everything in the municipality. Single says some roads and culverts could be washed out.

He notes disaster financial assistance should provide some help. The fund will aid them in any damages to roads. Farmers can also get assistance through the fund if they have washouts in their fields. Single notes it's not for crop damage but damage to infrastructure of a farming operation.

HI Tony, sorry to hear about the flooding. It will make it hard for farmers in the area who have fields under water. Unfortunately most probably do not have crop insurance so this years crop will probably be a bust. Not good for many of them.

Hope your day has went well. I managed to get some good rest this afternoon. Was not feeling well this morning but stomach seems to have settled down this evening.

Have a great morning dear ones.

Good Afternoon Tony!

Sorry to hear that parts of your area are experiencing some massive flooding! We in Mass and New England know full well what that's like! Hopefully, it all will recede very soon, affected people will get needed assistance and summer's official arrival, on Monday, will usher in much better weather and times for all!

Hope you and yours remain safe and manage to have a pleasant Saturday!
