Today will be sunny with the wind up to 15 km/h and a high of -22. There is a extreme wind chill of -41 this morning.
Tonight will remain clear with an overnight low of -26.
There is a wind chill warning this morn as the temp is -30C with a windchill of -40C.

Wind chill values of -40 to -45 this morning with brisk northwest winds.

This is a warning that extreme wind chill conditions are imminent or occurring in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..Listen for updated statements.

Cold Arctic air has brought temperatures in the minus thirties to Southern Manitoba this morning. Winds are generally light but in areas near the Manitoba escarpment brisk northwest winds of 15 to 20 km/h are giving extreme wind chill values of minus 40 to minus 45 this morning. Winds are expected to diminish and temperatures moderate later this morning after sunrise and as a result wind chills will become less extreme.

At these extreme wind chill values frostbite on exposed skin may occur in less than 10 minutes.

Yikes that is cold!
When I lived up North I froze my feet once or twice. Now they turn purple and white if it gets below 20f outside. Won't be moving up to your area anytime soon.

I put this on Charles blog."Heavy snow freezing fog wind nne 24mph gusts.Geez that's all I can remember.Hard to tell how much snow we have because of the wind.26f. :)" Oh yea good morning.LOL :)

Good morning Tony. Looks like we were lucky here, temps are now at 45F at the moment and lots of rain falling. Should soon quiet down a bit outside as this system moves north and east of me.

We did not see any snow but buckets of rain. Lucky us.....

Hope you keep warm today with those cold temps. Its not much better in the DFW area of TX, at my sister's in south Dallas county, its only 24F this morning....burrrr...glad I am up here.
