Welcome to Fall Tony. We have been seeing it the past few days here, sun is trying hard to break through the cloud cover and its was a chilly morning for us.

Have a great fall day dear one. Yup you will soon need to wear a light jacket to go out..

Okay, so it's cold, windy, rainy. The good news is that it is great sleeping and cooking weather.
I really liked our week of rain. It shut down the construction behind my house and I slept sooo good for a change.

The only suggestion of Fall here in Livermore is that it is dark as the inside of a cow by 8 PM. Yesterday we hit 103º tying a record from 1952. Today (27th) we hit 102º. But, it is finally cooling down — about low 80s this coming afternoon.

California weather is mostly boring. That's why the Weather Channel lady stands in front of CA and points to Atlanta. So, OK, we have an occasional earthquake to make up for it. Florida is pretty uniform and boring too, but they get great sunsets. Here, the sun sinks into an off shore fog bank and drowns.

Fall colors? The leaves just get tired of living, turn a pale brown and fall off the tree, cluttering up the driveway and plugging the gutters. :))

Good morning Tony!
You sure had a nice "extra month of summer"...it looks like even with cool weather in the last few days of the month, this will be the warmest September on record for southern Manitoba. Winnipeg has actually averaged warmer than Denver this month! I guess it's back to reality now. Liked the pics of Delta Beach...I've been there three times over the years, most recently in 2003. Have a great day :-)
