Abby was a rotten dog yesterday. First she rolled in something dead and had a smelly, gooey substance on her back. I got that off at a nearby carwash with some water from a tap. The while on a bunny chase she got into a fenced area. It took me 10 minutes to find where she got in and free her. There was a small opening in the chain link fence I had to hold open so she could get out. I don't know how she got in by herself it was such a tight fit.

Police Search Portage Residence from Portageonline.com
The search for 24 year old Amber McFarland of Portage has resumed.
She's been missing since last October.

The RCMP began searching a residence on Yellowquill Drive this morning, with the Forensic Mobile Response Unit on the scene.

Media Relations Officer Sergeant Line Karpish points out their ongoing investigation has led them back to the house.
She adds they consider this a murder investigation, and are confident they'll come to a successful conclusion.
Karpish notes they're searching the entire residence, and that could extend to the yard as well.
She isn't certain how long the search will take.

Amber's mother Lori McFarland is glad the investigation is progressing, but hasn't been told what prompted the police to search at that location.
