Buck the dog enjoyed his struct yesterday with 1 bunny chase. That dog will never learn a 3 lb bunny moving across the top of the snow will never be caught by a 100 lb dog breaking through. He ran 1/4 mile chasing the bunny till it got lost in a bluff of willow. Then he ran all the way back to me. I wish I had that kind of energy.

I guess this is normal temps for this part of the prairies. It's certainly better than last week at this time. There's quite a difference in temps in western and eastern Manitoba. Brandon 110 km west has a temp of -17 while Winnipeg 10 km east has a temp of -25. The temp here is -21 this morning. It made for a cool walk to work but the winds are light so that there is no recordable wind chill.

I wasn't going to take Buck the dog for his struct last night but he kept eyeing his leash so I broke down and took him out. He was more energetic than usual and decided it was a good night to chase vehicles. He collided with one. He wasn't hurt but sure was scared. Hopefully he'll remember the experience and leave them alone in the future.
