New neighbors (about a month ago) were noisy last night. The male was abusing the female. She'd come out the door and he'd drag her back in hitting and pulling her by the hair. A quick response by the RCMP when called had 5 patrol cars and 10 members on the street in less than 5 minutes. The couple denied anything happened. It was dark and not being able to positivly identify the assailant left the police little choice but to leave without charges. It's sad that a woman would take that kind of abuse without pressing charges.
