Blog issues fixed?

I know it's Thanksgiving and this is a traditional Thanksgiving hymn but I haven't heard it in years. I'm not sure what made it pop into my head a few minutes ago.

I can't tell what the sound quality is on this video but the little Indians and Pilgrims are cute.

"We Gather Together" is a Christian hymn of Dutch origin written in 1597 by Adrianus Valerius as "Wilt heden nu treden" to celebrate the Dutch victory over Spanish forces in the Battle of Turnhout. It was originally set to a Dutch folk tune. In the United States, it is popularly associated with Thanksgiving Day and is often sung at family meals and at religious services on that day. To read the rest, click on this link to Wiki: We Gather Together.

I wish you and yours a wonderful Thanksgiving!

so nice to hear the back is mending.

Max seems to be on the recovery road also. He has been living off Campbells chicken noodle soup the past couple of days. very high sodium but its whatever works at this point.

Our nice day went downhill fast today. Never did see 70, maybe tomorrow. As Scarlett says..after all tomorrow is another day....

Nice to see you feeling a little better.

Not looking forward to the mountain of backbreaking laundry in front of me either:)

Happy Sunday, everyone.

Janet, the back is still sore but I think better than it was. I stuck with just the ibuprofen yesterday and didn't take one of the muscle relaxants until I was ready for bed. It put me out like a light again.

There's no way I can take both of them during the day and still function.

Frankly, I think the ibuprofen on it's own should be enough. It relieves the muscle ache and breaks the cycle of discomfort and tensing up of other muscles, to compensate for the strained one. I think that should be enough. Along with time.

Got another load of clothes in the wash. I was late starting it all yesterday and didn't finish. Despite the warmer temps, I still had some damp items to bring in before dark yesterday. We hung them up inside and they're all dry now.

Hopefully your meds will fix the back problem soon.
The elderly woman we check in on has taking pain killers that pretty much put her in a coma for several years. She is still trying to regain some of her memory. She took herself off them when her husband got sick & needed care.

Looks like you might have been warm enough to have laundry dry even if the sun didn't shine. We have had a beautiful day! No laundry to do, did it earlier in the week. I have just been lazing about & setting out on the patio enoying the warmth.

take care & as you like to say to Sandi "baby steps" with the back.

Good morning!

White Rabbits X3!

Sandi, well, they said the blog issue was fixed. I guess we will find out soon enough if that 'internal server error' message/page disappears for good.

I never used the 'favourte blogs' function. I have mine in 'Recommended Links.' It needs updating, as there are a few I'd like to add. It's something to add to my To Do list, if I ever get around to doing them!

Pros, I love the Dr. Seuss quote!

My back has still been giving me fits. It would ease off some and the next day, it would be back with a vengeance.

So, after work yesterday, I swung by that after hours place near my house: Doctors Care. I was beginning to wonder if it was a pulled/spasmed muscle, after all. It had been 7 days and didn't seem to be getting any better. I'd never had a sore back hang on this long before. 3-4 days is usually the norm.

The verdict: I just did a number on my back. The doctor said I wasn't being silly by coming in to be checked; it was sensible. Esp after a week. It could have easily been something else.

He gave me scrips for a muscle relaxant and some prescriptions strength ibuprofen. I'm still sore this morning but, hopefully, by the time I go back to work Monday, I'll be better.

I'm not sure how much I'll be able to get done around the house this weekend if I take both of those scrips 3X daily, as prescribed. Taken together last night, they knocked me out flat. Perhaps just the ibuprofen during the day and then both before bed.

Bug - wishing you a very happy, healthy and peaceful month.

I am glad to see someone actually replied to your mail.

What they need to do now is to move the link for the new Community Activity from the bottom of the Blog tab. The bottom link was always, 'Favourite blogs', but not any more. I have lost count of how many times I have opened the dratted Community activity this morning! I have now resorted to back-up each page, rather than refresh on the link as I used to do.

It may be ok on a proper computer, but on a touch screen tablet it is annoying, as my finger is so used to going to the bottom of the tab!

Ok, I am 'jabbering', so time to shut up and get on leaving my monthly greetings. lol

Well, I'll be darned, Doc. It never occurred to me to go looking at the "About Us" to see if Aaron was still here. And so he is. You might be right about him being sequestered from the villagers! lol

Janet, I don't think that running script has anything to do with my hard drive, like our IT guy said. We just got brand, spanking new computers about 3 weeks ago. I no longer have the one I was originally getting that error on. Now, I have no idea if what I've got IS brand, spanking new or if it's a refurbished piece. I know one of my two monitors is used.
Very obviously. Whoever had it before taped notes all
around the edges. They did remove the notes but I've been picking at stickum for three weeks.

Sandi, I think you might be right about the problems being with WU.

I just noticed that Community Activity thing. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me for a sec.

Only have 30 minutes for lunch today, as I need to leave early to stop by the optician's office before they close. I picked up my computer glasses yesterday but I think there's something wrong with them. I think, when they took the lenses out of the frames I wanted to use (an old pair I had at the house), they got the lenses mixed up and put a new one and an old one back inthe frames. I'm all off kilter.

I have just realised that I get that 'internal server' message on the laptop, but not on the IPad....

I think it is WU themselves, as they are trying to incorporate so many new features at once.
Have you noticed the latest? The community activity, showing all the blog posts as they happen. - live! Found down on the right of the blog comment box.
Works ok on the laptop, but has a tendency to 'float' on the IPad! lol

Edit
Oh, they are obviously trying to burst the server! When I came to read the blog I saw Janet, but now the settings are fixed at Show Average and Janet is hidden. I tried resetting it at Show All, but to no avail!! Fiddle-diddle!!

2nd edit! Show all is back!! As is Janet! lol

It is sort of comforting to you you are not alone. I'm back to getting the running script error. Got it this morning on desk-top and laptop. My desktop is a very old one also. Laptop a year old. We had the desktop 'built' about 10 years ago in a computer shop and after they changed hands I had to take it in for a repair. The new owners apolozied for the parts that had been used in the building of it and replaced some of them. It appears the orginal owner had used a lot of boot-leg parts. Maybe we will see a new one in our future.

Take care.

Hey Bug,

Hmmm, well the "script running" probably diff from what I get, but on this antique I'm constantly having to click "continue" multiple times as my browser prompts me with a drop-down "unresponsive script warning" nearly always while it attempts loading, say high-traffic / high graphic content on Jeff's blog, comment pages.

Anyway, just passing by to note - checked WU's "about us" page and sure enough WunderYakuza Aaron C is still here, lead developer... Of course, they probably have him chained to his room, away from public contact with pitchfork wielding likes of us! LOL!

Good eve at ya!

Hi, Sandi! Yep, that's the one. If you ask Uncle Google, he pops up with that classic photo of Truman at his desk with the sign very prominently displayed.

Good to hear that C's mum is improving. I'll keep sending good vibes across the water. For you, as well, though I'm pretty sure you are well on the way to getting healed up and back to normal.

Another busy day here on Beetle Rock.

After an absence of three weeks, I got that blasted "running script' notice again just now. Only at work and only on WU.

Between that and the "internal server error' message.... So far, I'm not getting the running script thingy at home.

ROTFL, Doc. I know why you're broke and where your priorities are: All those vintage gee-tars.

Wab, ya gotta knock on wood, when you say things like that.

Rob, yeah, I knew it wasn't on my end. I did do all of those things out of habit before emailing Support. Well, I did download Firefox after I got that generic reply but I'd been pondering about downloading it for a while. It was just an excuse to go ahead and do it.

I'm busy as heck here today. Everyone is catching up after last week. After other folks do what they need to do, a lot of it ends up in my work queues 'cause something is missing or needs to be fixed. Makes me wish I had that sign for my desk that Truman did: The Buck Stops Here. Sometimes, that's how it feels! LOL

We didn't get much rain, Wab. What came down soaked in, though. Temps are rising again. The sun is back out.

I'm considering a trip to the Vegetable Bin after work. Their ad in today's paper stated "Johns Island tomatoes." Must be the tail end of the crop and if I want some, I guess I'd better get them before the first hard freeze kills them all off.

Just so you know, the server error has nothing to do with your machine, your browser, your cookies, cache, etc.
Seems to me to be a problem in the comments database. I've been having it at least once a day for a week. Haven't had it yet today, but the night is still young.

So...it's on their end. Nothing you can do but wait for it to come back online. The reply you received is standard issue low level tech support reply.

"For heaven's sake, Doc. Pry that wallet out of your back pocket and go get yourself a new lappy or something."

Well one day, but right now I'm broke.
Remember? I spent all my money buying 20-35 year old vintage acoustic guitars this year, investing in more OLD technology (!)... Ahhh, the simple pleasure - no computer required, in fact no restrictive hindrance of needing electricity either... All powered up with the easy task of placing my fingers on the strings, it does the rest!
;)

Good day at ya, Miss Bug!

WOWEE... Lookit the comments. Hi, Doc, Karen, Beth and Skye. I feel less alone, now what I know everyone else is having this issue, too. Comfort in numbers!

Well I clicked to read your comments on the internal error message and I got an internal error message, lol! Figures, huh, Doc? LOL

I can only imagine what my poor Dad has been thinking, if he's been getting this error on his daily check of the blogs. I did post a brief explanation that it wasn't him, it was the site and to just try again later, that it comes and goes.

I've gotten this error on Explorer, Chrome and Firefox. At work and at home. On New WU and, I think, Classic but I won't swear to it. I've been back and forth and hither and yon to the point where I don't remember every place I've seen it.

Haven't noticed any issues with 'quote', mainly because I very seldom use it.

For heaven's sake, Doc. Pry that wallet out of your back pocket and go get yourself a new lappy or something. No wonder you've been in lurk mode for so long! Keep Old Faithful, if you must, but get something a little more technilogically advanced. lol

Skye, lol, it's worse than that - I'm using Camino version 1.0.1 from 2006 (the Mozilla for Mac)... and my Mac is so old (OSX-10.2.8) I CAN'T use Chrome, nor the latest Camino or Safari (or other browsers) and the biggest issue that leaves me in a void - can't update Flash beyond version 9 - so I no longer see satellite loops that don't have a java option or anything powered by Flash 10...

Ahhh, one of these days when I get around to it, I'll wipe the dust off, fire up the DeLorean / flux capacitor and grab a computer from 2020 and come back waaaaay ahead of this silly tech game of needing the latest / greatest...

signed, DinosaurNDswamp...

Thanks Doc, for the explanation. I don't have any issues with the new version, so I guess I'll just stick with that. I would imagine if I lived in an area where I really needed to know intimate details about the weather, instead of mine, which is usually "more of the same", I'd truly care about how I accessed the information.

I'm here to check my weather, of course, read the blogs, and look at the pictures from around the world!!! Plus, I've made too many good friends to ever completely stay away!

Hiya Karen,

When they changed to the newer version a year or two ago, your link was probably automatically switched to the latest one, but they still kept the older version available - now called Classic... and many of us still prefer using it.

Both versions of mine are set to open on the tropical page, so for example this is old style Wunderground Classic version... and this is the New Wunderground version.
In the URL address, classic begins with - "http://classic" ... while New WU begins as simply - "http://www" ... with both followed by ".wunderground.com/tropical/" in the above links.

OK, I went back into my sent folder and I see why they asked me to send them a screen shot. The one I sent, while I thought was a photo, when it sent, was just a bunch of gobbly gook.

I do have to ask a question. I keep seeing, Classic WU, Old WU, New WU. How do you know which version you are on?

I haven't had a stitch of a problem since last week. Well, I haven't submitted this comment yet, so perhaps I should hold my tongue, but I got in here OK!

Whew, darn I wrote / typed that too fast... I think I've reached final edit, modifying comment on the above, lol... Oh yeah, reminds me - modifying my comment only works correctly in Classic WU for me... Also noticed, "quote" button doesn't work in new WU version either since they implemented whatever the heck they've done to "upgrade" the site...
Sheeeesssshhhhh....
;)

PS Edit (again) - Just send WU admin a link to your comments section if they really care to see how screwed up a creation they've made with their latest / greatest! "Today's WU" is about as responsive as talking to a brick wall... :(

Okay, lol... I'm done, over and out...

Howdy Bug,
Well I clicked to read your comments on the internal error message and I got an internal error message, lol! Took a few minutes, now it's working again.

This and a number of tech glitch issues has been commented on a LOT in Dr Jeff's blog for over a week now, yet not he or anyone at WU admin / IT has been forthcoming to offer any satisfactory explanation... You betcha, we all miss Aaron as it seems he's gone, although I don't know for sure... I just know, he would have been friendly, responsible and courteous enough to offer such to loyal users of this site rather than leave us in the dark wondering!

I first noticed changes, minor as it is, with the little hover mouse thingy over the "plused" comments number, which ID'd the "plusers" - I just see a question mark now alongside my cursor. Of course this only worked for me on new WU, not classic WU where it just had the plus, minus, exclamation buttons, but no number by the pluses.. LOL, since usually use classic anyway, it wasn't that long ago I discovered one could see the number and ID who plused who's comment using new WU. LOL, I was so curious how bloggers knew who and how many had plused a particular comment... But it's gone now... Almost wish they'd get rid of it anyway, given it's another source of polarizing / tribalistic display among bloggers on hot button issues. Although admittedly, I checked into new WU at times, just to see if any of my own comments had gotten "cross-tribal" approval, lol... For me, New WU just has too many disagreeable cookies, "forever to finish loading" issues or whatever, etc - probably to accomodate smart phones and all the latest plethora of comp systems, so Classic WU always been my 1st choice to access the site... And - regardless, after each session on WU with either version, I ALWAYS have to clear the cache / kill / restart the browser as it becomes so bogged down, slow. That said, news sites always seem worse and cookie cleaning is a daily ritual for me...

No reason for me to submit a service issue ticket, for like many these days, they'd most likely tell me what I already know / suspect - I need to upgrade my now unsupported browser... or the constant error message I get to "upgrade to Flash 10"... can't do either on this now 10 year old Mac, lol... yeah, one of these days, ya know...

Oh well, ain't progress grand - as long as it works or if you afford to keep up with it!!!

Anyway, thanks for offering a venue for me to add my comments on the matter.
Have a good 'un Bug and friends...
;)

Hallo, Shore, Karen, Ylee, Pros, Sandi, Janet.

That error seems to come and go. I'll be happily pottering about the blogs for a couple of days or so with no problem and then, ~~BOOM~~
There it is. Again. I'll go play Bookworm, mess with my Gmail or watch TV. Sometimes I can get back in after a while. I usually just get frustrated and shut my computer down.

I think that reply was a generic, too, Sandi. "Oh, God, the natives are fussing again. Send 'em that message # 15, willya?"

Shore, you ought to know better. When you want something to happen, it won't. And Karen says she's already done it. Do it again, anyway. I think they need bombarding.

Well, I'm back at work. My desk isn't as bad as I expected this morning but last week was a bit slow, due to the holiday and a lot of people out. I rather think as they start catching up, I'll be getting a lot more tomorrow and on through the rest of this week.

Oh, joy.

I'm beginning to think they need to look out the castle window and see the villagers advancing with torches and pitchforks!

Good morning Bug.

I too have had problems with WU, I get a blank page except for an 'error' message.

We have a cold morning but sunny. The wind is not too active at the moment but when it is, we get a blast of very icy cold air.

Just wanted to say hello and wish you a very good Monday.

I was having trouble with the blogs last week. I took a screen shot of the message I got and sent it off to them. They replied with a request for a screen shot of the message??? I did!! Anyway, it was just weird, but it just as mysteriously stopped.

I was able to access all things on WU, like you said Bug, except for blogs. I was able to get in a chat room. There were a couple of folks in there chatting, so I just went in there to see if they were having the same problem. They were and they said it had been going on and off for a couple of weeks. I might have the screen shot saved on my other computer, so if I do and you're still having the issue, I'd be curious to see if it's the same message.

Let you know sometime tomorrow.

Janet, my back discomfort is almost gone this evening. It was obviously muscle strain but, boy, it had me miserable yesterday.

Several of my outside potted plants have gotten ratty looking, too. I didn't bother putting them in my little protected area. Frankly, I have a couple of houseplants inside that are getting the same way. I might try repotting them and see how they do. If they don't perk up, I'm tossing them.

I hate when the husbands do that. Mine will say he's not really hungry, no need to cook supper and then waits until I'm settling down with a book or on the computer before starting to rummage in the kitchen, only to tell me that "There's nothing to eat in here." Full fridge, full pantry and 'nothing to eat.'

Numberwise, I would encourage you and everyone else that has gotten the internal server error message to email WU support at support@wunderground.com.

I think they need to know that it's not just one blogger (me) having the issue. I know of at least 6 people that have had the same problem in the last couple of weeks.

Be sure to do all of the below steps and tell them exactly what you were doing at the time you got the error.

When I emailed them, I told them that it was just the blog comments, that I could access everything else on the site. That I had logged off, then back on. That I'd shut down my computer and rebooted. That I'd tried Explorer and Chrome, That I'd cleared my cached, deleted temp internet files, cookies, browsing history, to no avail. That this error seems to come and go.

This was their reply:

Hello,
Sometimes the site will act strangely or poorly when old data has built up. Normally clearing your browser's cache and cookies, and signing back in again works.
If you've tried that, you could check to see the page in a different browser and see if it works. This isn't so much a fix, but might help us narrow down the problem.

Thank you,

"W"
Wunderground Support

(I intentionally left off his name.)

Dang, I miss Aaron (aka Wunderyakuza). I don't know if he's even with WU anymore. He was great.

I hope the back is feeling better tonight. I decided this year I wasn't going to bring in all my plants. There are several I've had for years that get special treatment. The others have gotten rather scrawny looking. So I decided to start with a clean slate next spring. I'm trying to work my way into the more native type plants so I won't have to worry over them as much. At least that the plan now.

Max had told me he didn't want much supper now he's knocking around in the kitchen looking, so I guess I'd better go see what I can fix this late in the day. If only we hadn't had soup & sandwich for lunch, sigh...

take care...

I've been getting those error messages also for a few weeks. I do understand that they need to do server things and maintenance chores, but it would be nice if they would give us some explanation - like "Sorry the blogs aren't available right now, as we're doing some work. Please try later."

WU Support didn't tell me anything about the blogs being on another server. They just wanted to know what I'm doing at the time I get the error. They said they needed more specifics in order to figure out where the problem was or if it was even on their end. They suggested clearing my cache, deleting browsing history, cookies, etc etc etc. Or trying another browser. All of which I had already tried.

I was getting the error on both Explorer and Chrome. New WU and Classic WU. I even downloaded Firefox the other night and still got it.

I don't think they'll put the issue on the front burner until they get enough complaints. So email WU support.

I've recently had one instance of seeing comments hidden like that; not sure which blog I was on.

Why can't I see Sandi's comments, or Wabs, or JanetLee's? this is strange..... I opened them up, but they closed again when I refreshed the page. More weirdness... I guess there's a setting I need to check - the box that says "show me every bit of craziness, stupidity, weirdness and general foolishness on the blogs".
That ought to do it! LOL

Hidy Ho, and Happy we're-past-Thanksgiving! I don't know why, but I just wasn't in the mood this year. Probably because my plans went awry at the last minute. But it was a nice holiday, and all went well. Now, the pie is all gone, and I'm going to try to keep myself under control until Christmas cooking time. ;)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who'd been getting that server error. I kept trying to get in to leave a note that no, I wasn't in that accident, but couldn't do it. I tried new WU, but that didn't help, either. I suppose that would count as a reason to go on facebook, but how often do you need to communicate an "I'm ok" message?

What seemed strangest is that I could get the weather forecasts and such. They may have moved the blogs to a different server and still are working out the kinks. That's the explanation I'm going with, anyhow.

I think today's the day to get the Christmas stuff out and plan what goes where. I may end up decorating my friend's nook at the rehab place a bit. Clearly, she's not going to be out by Christmas - at least, I can't imagine it. They said six weeks for the arm, and until her arm is healed, she can't use a walker to support her leg. Good gosh. But, she's doing fine, isn't in any pain and isn't bored out of her skull quite yet. I took her a tiny little AM/FM radio. It has the virtue of simplicity. It's about the size of a deck of cards, very light, and has two manual wheels for off/on/volume and station selection. She can handle it just fine with one hand, and I put a loop on it so it's easy to grab off the bedside table. There's no question - I'm grateful for good health at this point. (Let me go find some wood to knock on!)

I went over to the wildlife refuge yesterday, and got my first butterfly photo. I've always assumed Pros, GG, Sandi and such could get such photos because of their cameras. No question that helps - but so does patience. I chased the butterfly for a half hour. ;)

We're not even close to cold here yet, but it was supposed to hit about 45 last night. I don't know if it did, but it's a gorgeous day now. Lots of sunshine. I'm going to head out to the balcony and see if I have any more Cape Honeysuckle seeds ready to come off. They split and scatter their seeds to fast I have to check it the plants every day now, or all I find are empty pods.

Whew.... thought I lost that post. Just as I hit 'post comment,' I got that blasted internal server error again. Switched from Explorer to Firefox, got back in and my post was there.

Let's see what happens this time.

LOL, Sandi.

Yes, the National Weather Service does tend to hit the panic button, as do our local TV weather forecasters, when there's even the slightest possibility of severe weather or temps on the way.

As it turned out, I don't think it got quite that low here at the house. The water in the birdbath wasn't even frosted over. It may have been a different story a just a mile or so further inland. I didn't want to take the chance that it WOULD get down that low and I hadn't taken precautions.

Still, I needed to get my winter plant preps done. My little enclosure is set up in the back yard and my outside potted plants settled in. All I'll have to do for the next few months is cover them, when we have a forecasted freeze.

The back is still sore this morning but I think it may be a little less than it was yesterday. I felt fine, as I was lying in bed, just after waking up. When I got up is when I knew it hadn't gone. I'll just keep taking the ibuprofen today and see how it goes.

It didn't help that I was lifting and heaving several heavy pots and concrete blocks yesterday, getting those plants settled in. I suppose I could have done this Wed or Thurs, while Hubby was home to help or have waited yesterday until he got off work. I had no idea when that would be, though, and I didn't want to wait until late afternoon.

He arrived just as I was finishing up. Perfect timing on his part, eh? LOL

I saw how you got your plant under cover before the frost arrived.

I always smile to myself when I see your weather warnings. They are so "full" and "shout" the warning at you. If we had a frost arriving all we would get would be a minimum temperature.

This is today's weather warning... No shouting and very understated. Lol

Weather Warning
Sunday 25th November
AMBER WARNING of RAIN
Persistent rain will continue north across much of the country on Sunday, turning heavy in places but clearing quite quickly from southern parts.
However, following a drier interlude, further heavy rain is expected to affect Wales and southwestern parts of England during Sunday afternoon and evening, leading to further flooding.

Hi, Janet. I know what you mean about those days when the laundry just won't dry out, even if left out all day. You do have a dryer, so finishing them off like that is more economical than drying them from scratch. Me? Since I don't have a dryer, all the damp items wind up draped around the house. Well, the front bedroom, usually. Sometimes there's a bit of overflow to the shower curtain rod.

Ylee, so I am not the only one seeing that. (Sometimes, I think it's just me.) Sandi has had issues, as well. Both of us could access everything else on the site; just not the blog comments.

If everyone would email WU support, they'll put a little more of a priority on chasing down whatever is causeing it. I think I finally got back in the other night simply because the site got over whatever snit it was in. For the time being. I've been seeing this off and on for about 3 weeks.

I have not gotten much done today. I did get the laundry done and my plants covered up but the housecleaning and an outing to search for another plastic bin for my newspapers is on hold.

I can barely move. The left side of my upper back was a bit twingy yestereay a.m. but after getting showered, dressed and moving around, it went away. I figured I just slept in one position too long the night before.

I woke up feeling the same twinge this morning but instead of easing off, it has gotten worse. A lot worse. I've been taking ibuprofen and wondering what it is. I've been a bit short breathed but it is because it hurts when I breathe in deeply.

Pneumonia? I'm not running fever nor do I feel sick. TB? Not likely. I get tested at work yearly and I'm always negative. CANCER?! OMIGOD, I've got cancer!

Wait, wait, hold on.... Calm down. You idiot. You were outside Wednesday morning, raking away like a maniac. I keep forgetting to switch sides, when raking, so always end up with one side of my back sore. When I was a young whippersnapper, I didn't have this problem. Now? 30-45 minutes of raking has me creeping about like Tim Conway's Old Man character.

Another thing? I used to wake up sore from something like that the next day. Now it seems like there's a 2-3 day delay. Sneaky body.. letting me think I got away with it and then 3 days later......

BTW, the bin the recycling guys smashed is not one of the official recycling bins. It is just a plastic bin with lid I got to put the newspapers in. Our official recycling bins do not have lids and water, leaves, etc get in there and make a mess. And I didn't want a 2 week stack of newspapers piled inside in a corner. I want a new one? gotta buy it myself. They are slowing providing neighborhoods with bigger bins, much like our garbage cans, in which you put paper, plastice, glass, all in one. With a lid. We haven't gotten them yet.
