Shore, I was going to try that last night with Gus but Hubby was in bed. I knew if I turned the up volume the least bit at all, it would wake him up, so I didn't even try.
I don't understand how a pin dropping will wake Hubby up if he's in bed. This is the man that can snore all afternoon in his recliner with reruns of Gunsmoke and Bonanza, etc. going with gunfights, galloping horses, barroom brawls, etc in full cry.
We got about another half inch of rain last night. I noticed it was raining just as I was checking the kitchen before going to bed.
I'll be looking for, and tipping out, all standing water that I can find when I get home. I know I'm gonna have skeeters but that doesn't mean I have to make it easy for 'em.
Dr appt was hunky dory. One of my annual exams.
It is so cold here, I have had to go and get a sweatshirt out of the cupboard. If it doesn't warm up I may have to put on the heating - in JULY!!!
Drat this laptop. There seem to be keys and/or key combinations, and if you hit them, they cause unexpected results.
I had just about finished up a nice little morning post, when my computer shut down, installed Windows updates and booted back up again.
Of course, my post went ~~~POOF~~~

I have laundry to do and the usual household chores. A possible trip to Walmart, as I have some scrips to turn in from my doctor appt on Thursday. Maybe pick up some groceries while I'm there.
