Have lived in the Holy City, where local legend has it that the Ashley and the Cooper meet to form the Atlantic, pretty much all my life. I've been around for Hazel (stayed), Gracie (stayed), Hugo(stayed, tho Lord knows, I wish I hadn't) and Floyd (hauled buggy on that one). Along with all the lesser storms that have threatened, brushed by, passed under or over, thrown rocks, blown raspberries and generally been insulting.
I like mammals, birds,insects and reptiles of all kinds except palmetto bugs (don't ask) and skinks. Enjoy gardening/yard work, plants, art, mahjonng solitaire, crafts, thrift shopping and am an obsessive reader - mostly mysteries, history, cops/private eyes - anything but porn and romances (yuck).
Pound a keyboard all day at work. Since I am pretty much deaf as a post, I can't use a phone. Email is my lifeline. Guess that's why I'm sucked into my computer so much when I'm at home.
Hate housework and inside chores, grocery shopping, and getting up in the morning to go to work. Don't mind the job; it's the getting there part I hate. Hate dial-up; love my broadband.
