Satellite Maps of Katrina Path

I just received an email with this link to NOAA's, Hurricane Katrina Images.

The overall damage to EVERYTHING - not the least of which is the completely devastated outer banks of the buffer wetlands - that is what's left of them! What little precious protection Lousiana had .. it NO MORE!

Hours and hours of interesting viewing to be sure.

PS .. I'm grateful to see these images .. but isn't it odd, that we can get hundereds of satellite images within a week of a disaster like Katrina - yet ...
