The Giant Ice Cube is Melting!

It's nice to see blue water again instead of the white tundra out on Lake Erie.

Major Break Up (novembergale)
This part of Lake Erie was solid ice a week ago. It's wonderful to see what a couple days of sunshine and above freezing temps can do!

I would say it's melting a few weeks earlier than usual. I remember taking pictures last April (about mid-month) and there was more ice cover than there is now.
