Yesterday the Storms Prediction Center put my area here in northeast Kentucky under a "MODERATE RISK" for severe storms. My location was amongst several counties with the highest wind probability, a 45% chance. We had severe storms (some noted with rotation), and powerful, straight-line winds, which brought down trees, power-lines, and caused structural damage to homes and area businesses. We also had some beautiful "Mammatus clouds" pass through, as well as an amazing "double-rainbow."
