Hey gang. I want to wish all of you and yours a very Merry Christmas!!!! I don't post much on here anymore due to a very busy work schedule, family time, etc... Quite a bit has changed since I came here in 2005. Some good, some bad, but it's still the same WU :-) I sincerely wish all of my WU family a wonderful Christmas and a happy/healthy 2013!!

Wednesday morning here in the North Charleston area is looking rather hairy. I honestly cannot remember the last time we had a TORCON of 5. It blows my mind that we are seeing this kind of severe potential just a few days before the new year! I do remember living in Tampa Bay and we did have a few "underwear relocating" days during the month of December. Here in SC though, it is a little more on the side of rarity. These cells look like they will be discrete and there will be plenty of shear to work with. The only saving grace that I am seeing thus far is that instability looks to not be bananas, so we'll see if this tornado threat truly materializes for us.

Either way, please stay safe folks!!! Special shout out to Presslord. Hold onto your hat friend!

The weakness betwe...
