Fellow WU bloggers:
My 2008 outlook is put together and finished. Why isn't it up yet? Because my dumb ass saved it to my thumb drive at work today and LEFT the DAMN THING in my office!!!! It's actually in my USB port on the pc. I can remote to it and pull it. I'll have it up tomorrow morning!
As most all of you know, Alma is coming ashore in Central America as we speak. Over the last few days, many egos have had their say. Some scientific, some full of horse apples! Now, as ALL of you know, I am a very opinionated individual who very rarely backs down from an opportunity to turn a loud mouthed buttplug into soup. Having said that, I have about HAD IT with some of the personal attacks on folks that actually have a flippin clue about the atmosphere. I know, I know..... Trolls will still be here. I get it. Just know this... I have a responsibility to all of you this season. I get loads of email from newbies, and even "oldbies" asking genuine weather related questions, and for me it is NOT about an ego, or being right 100% of the time. It is about sharing information, making someone's day by saying how are you, and also by helping those that truly want to learn. I learn something new from all of you EVERY DAY! I will never know it all. Dr. Masters will never know it all. Weatherguy03, Drak, JP, StormW, Patrap, MLC, Gator, Gulfscotsman, 456, Ike, CCHS, Ricderr (especially you sir:-), Adrian, StormJunkie and many others will NEVER KNOW IT ALL! We are all human. But I can guarantee you this much folks... I would give and do anything for these people. This is a family. Family of hotheads? Hell yes! Isn't every family full of a few?
So, with my 2008 outlook coming tomorrow, I leave you with this... Open your mind. Continue to ask questions and learn. I did. I have been here for over four years. And every time I have thought about giving the finger to this place, I always stay. Why? I love this gang.
Oh, one more thing.... My wife is my first love. She drives me to be better every day. She also allows me to do this:-) She is my soul, my source of inspiration and a damn good woman. Thank you baby! Now, help me out here WILL YA??? DO A RAIN DANCE WOMAN!!! :-)

Ladies and gentlemen..... Will someone please 'splain to me why and how these brainless, out of touch, botox beast, crinkly old windbags got the power they got? Aren't they supposed to work for US? Isn't their job to serve the public?
Every single one of these monkeys need to be shown the door. This is NOT the resume I expect from leadership. In the private sector, these bozos would be out on their allmighty, ever growing rumps A LONG TIME AGO!
One more thing... I am not letting the oil execs off the hook here. They are as guilty as sin, as are the futures folks. Line 'em up.... Line 'em up.
God help us all!

Well, after a gag last night from the blogosphere, the blogs appear to be fixed. As for the weather, it is extremely uncomfortable here in the Tampa area. It is 83 degrees, but with the 80% humidity, it feels like 93 degrees. Very soupy. Was going to cut the backyard, but I think I will wait until dusk time for that.
Washing the cars today. To hell with the watering restrictions!!! Our cars look like the production vehicles from "Dune!"

Yes, I am geeked for this film! I am a HUGE Indy fan! May 22, 2008! I am THERE! I open this fun blog for you all to leave your favorite Indy moments.
Mine? Too many to mention.. However, in "Temple of Doom" when Indy says "We are going to DIE" combined with the goofy look on his face is classic!

We (Rob, Bob, myself and whoever else wants some) are gonna go storm chasing this year, provied momma nature cooperates. When? When a hurricane is a couple of days out from landfall. How? A large vehicle. Details to come... And so I don't steal anyones thunder, Spetrm brought this up first:-)
I posted this earlier, but I will add it here. I will be opening up my house if in fact the 87 year drought were to end for the Tampa area and a direct strike.
