Controlling Flatulence from Kangaroos and other species is worth a whole blog, Mobal.

As long as they don't remove the sound, I could live with it.

A good laugh for me.
Thanks

Good Afternoon

I'm all ready for christmas.

I have the house decorated inside and out.

All the christmas shopping done, except for my grandson, and we will get his when we go to St Johns next week (still have to wrap Debs gifts).

We have all the munchies bought (althought we may have to replace some) *S*

Have all the liquor except for beer. Rider won't have a truck large enuf available until the weekend.

We are getting some light snow but its not to cold.

Hope all is well and you are having a good day.

Take care and be safe.

Beach, Buy both!

Barefoot, We will wrap 'em up, and I will buy someting else (translate, less $$) to put under the tree also. Maybe a purse or purfume things. (Auburn needs to buy a purse strap, LOL)

Gator, the lens is the way to go. If that is the only differences.

Yeah that is what Wanda said - go with the bigger lens. I think it has 6 or 8 megapixels....whatever that is.

bl,
Point well taken. (LMAO, the post I'm speaking to is gone?!)

Knew a couple years ago who agreed each would buy for him/herself what they wanted when they wanted, without argument. Not just at Christmas but throughout the year. Children still got Christmas gifts. This seemed to work well. Always wondered, tho, given this arrangement, if the female half isn't still gonna want something special under the tree from hubby, and would (hopefully) delight in whatever that gift may be. So ya better start shopping for your Bride, even if she follows your lead and goes gets something for herself. lol.

Nice lense Mobal...sure will come in handy for those closeups...I use to have a Pentax 645 with all the different lenses but that was years ago before everything went digital and so much easier to use. My portrait camera was a Hasselblad 503CXI...a good camera for doing weddings and portrait pics... Gave both cameras and accessories to the College when I left Toronto.

Now I just use a little digital Kodak that does the job for what I need now days.

My husband is getting a Canon Powershot which is the catagory of "serious amatuer". We are debating on whether to get the one with the higher pixels and smaller lens or the one with the lower pixels and larger lens. I asked Wanda and she said buy them both! LOL

Hey Mobal, A nice toy for you. Can't always count on Santa. You did the right thing.

I bought a new laptop late November. Had several really good excuses ready for Bride.
1. Hard to get on the main PC w/2 daughters in residence.
2. Oldest can inherit laptop when she's ready.
3. Work laptop now being monitored by shadow goverment.

The truth:
Price was good but not great. More laptop than I probably need. More money then I should spend on myself this time of year.

Finally went w/outright lies for justification:
Told her it was such a deal. Be stupid to pass up. Pre-xmas clearence sale. Half-Off. I am saving money. At this price they won't last.

So tell her, but lie about the price. That would be my advice.
