06:00 65f, overcast, foggy. roosters up. a few faint stars. dogs up and so am I. small craft advisory.
07:10, 65f, field trip cancelled due to wind advisory. donkeys working on hay. sheep out in pasture. fed chickens..
11;00, small flock of wood storks in ponds of abandoned farm along 345.
11:30, high tide at CK. south wind, 18 knts. 73f. great egrets in the marsh. fed cat. spent most of day creating power point talk on our species action notice. boring..
16:10, waves and white-caps in channel between CK and atsena otie. still high tide with white-caps at #4 bridge. SSW wind, 22-25 knts. 74f. large flock of ducks rafting in sheltered back creek.
18:30, 77f, overcast. strong south wind. did chores early. got 3 eggs. neither donkeys nor sheep got hay as they had leftovers from feed run into cowtown this morning. hoping for rain but watered plants. everything is very dry. tomatos had to be staked.
20:30, 76f. still very windy. lightning to north., fireflies in the woods and the cactus field. pleasant walk with pup and guardian down lane. good night, wind.
