07:10, 49f, clear. roosters crowing. strange noises from the south - cows and people? dogs? can't make it out.. maybe a round-up.. guardian guarding her food bowl from the crows. sheep out in pasture. no one seems upset but pup who wants to get the crows.......
11:00, mid tide rising at CK. south wind, 9 knts. 66f. sunny. cormorants at the oyster bar. egrets in the tide.
fed cat. finished mending last trawl. continued mending big seine. pleasant out. no bugs to speak of so worked all afternoon without breaks.
15:00, high tide at #4 bridge. west wind, 5 knts. 68f. white pelicans off to east. osprey eating a fish in pine tree across the street.
17:40, 70f, a mist forming. 3 deer in donkey woodlot. pup spots them. hay to all. got 3 eggs. guardian sleeping in front yard.
22:00, 63f, stars out. mars bright red in the east. guardian barking down the lane. pup on alert. good night.
