07:30, 56f, clearing. got another half inch of rain last night. roosters crowing. guardian all wet out by her swimming food bowl. 3 deer down west lane. 5 deer behind workshop. all browsing on emergent virginia creeper and grape vine shoots. pup wants to chase them.. guardian does. hay to donkeys and sheep.
10:00, low tide rising at CK. WNW wind, 13 knts. whitecaps. 62f. cormorants at the oyster bar. white pelicans circling CK. brown pelicans on mud bank. sunny.
fed cat. finished mending 600 ft. seine. cleaned out box, loaded seine into it. chilly in boat yard with wind.
15:10, high tide at #4 bridge. west wind, 10 knts. 62f. brown pelicans following crab boat.
19:30, 62f, clouding up. non-descript sunset. hay to all. got 2 eggs. guardian and pup playing by sheep barn. pup plays too rough. guardian knocks her down.
21:50, 56f, clearing with fog. stars out. waning rust-orange moon rising through cloud bank over sheep pasture. pleasant walk with pup and guardian down lane. pup behaves. good-night, world..
