07:30, 75F, mostly cloudy. fog. another quarter inch rain last night. sunrise a bright streak in the cloud cover to the east. roosters crowing. guardian checks out cactus field. sheep heading to pasture. walk with pup down the lane. a north breeze.
11:00, low tide rising at CK. east wind, 8 knts. 81F. mostly cloudy. egrets in marsh.
fed cat. packed dry trawl for mending, mended cod sleeve. washed 2nd bait seine. storm blew in late afternoon. more wind than rain. overcast.
15:30, high tide at #4 bridge. a chop. north wind, 15 knts. 75F. overcast and drizzling.
16:20, a dozen turkeys, adults and half-grown poults, feeding in a cow pasture. 78F at back door. mostly cloudy. guardian at gate. sheep under grape vines. got 2 eggs.
20:50, 75F, partly cloudy, patches of stars. slight north breeze. a fog. dark out.
