07:10, 74F, fog. orange sunrise. roosters crowing. guardian out and patrolling. dixie barking under the house. pleasant walk with pup down the lane. partly cloudy in blue skies. waning crescent moon in the east. need to get more hay bales. might take guardian who likes a ride in the truck now and then.
10:40, 83F, partly cloudy, mostly sunny. picked up a dozen bales of hay at hay guy's farm. guardian rode shotgun. pup stayed back at farm but oversaw the hay going into barn. worked up a sweat. humid and warm. sheep tucked right into a couple books.
19:10, 83F, hot. vacuum cleaner died. damn. 10 minutes of a delicious breeze from the east. opened mud porch door and let it into the house. everyone had scrambled eggs for supper but the cat.
21:40, 80F, mostly cloudy. still. crickets chirping. a few stars showing.
