07:30, 61F, mostly cloudy. distant thunder. brisk north breeze. roosters crowing. pup out. dixie and guardian at back door. lamb bottles heating up. light rain begins.
gas man shows up and lights pilot light on water heater. shower!
11:50, high tide rising at CK. south wind, 6 knts., 64F. lots of herons in marsh. a few ducks here and there. fed cat.
14:10, high tide at #4 bridge. 69F, west wind, 5 knts. big flock of ducks and smaller groups all through back creeks and shallows. mostly scaups. heading to cowtown for feed.
17:30, 72F at back door. partly cloudy/partly sunny. wisteria and tangerine tree are blooming.
20:10, 69F. got 2 eggs. unloaded feed. dixie came out from under the back steps. smoky, foggy..
21:20, 67F, mostly clear. waxing half moon high in the sky. stars, clouds, moon on black night. stellar!
