07:30, 71F!, overcast. roosters up since 5. gray and gloomy out. yellow dogs at back door. guardian has hurt either her hip or a back leg. not sure what's going on. she can walk but she's inside on her blanket to rest. pup out with yellow dogs. need to check sheep. lamb bottles heating up.
10:00, 74F, a mist you can feel like a prickling dampness on your skin. overcast. guard dog sleeping in mud porch. need to give out hay. down to 3.5 bales. hay guy out of hay. hay sucks at the feed store and is outrageous in price. sheep and donkeys won't eat it anyway. what to do. what to do...
15:00, 82F at back door in sun. SW wind, 10 knts. mostly cloudy, some sun. clouds traveling fast. guard dog limping on right hind leg spends day in mud porch resting. 2 deer perusing donkey woodlot. pileated woodpecker. cat watching squirrel on mimosa from window. got 3 eggs.
18:10, 73F, brisk SW wind. overcast.
19:30, 72F, overcast. no waxing gibbous moon to be seen. guardian out in yard at her insistance. hoping for rain.

I'm hoping for some oat hay like last year. there's a few fields got oats growing. oat hay really helped out last spring when there was no coastal to be found.
