06:50, 57F, mostly cloudy. roosters crowing. took pups for a walk down lane. crows busy. sheep out in pasture. shrimp fried rice for breakfast - nice big shrimp! lamb bottles heating up.
10:30, low moon tide rising at CK. 63F, east wind, 5 knts. herons fishing, white and blue.. ducks.
half of the 600 ft. seine, up to bag, is mended. there's a large hole somewhere in the next 300 ft. sunny with a breeze.
15:20, 70F, west wind, 2 knts. high tide at #4 bridge. herons fishing. egrets resting in black mangroves. 2 buzzards on an electric pole watching the road. red-tailed hawk watching from dead pine in the marsh. ducks.
16:20, 75F at back door. pups out and playing. partly cloudy. frontline on all dogs.
17:40, 71F, got 1 egg. one of the hens is trying to build a nest. 8 eggs. not sure if this will work with the other hens.
20:00, 65F, mostly clear. beautiful sky. waning full moon low in the east. a mist.
