08:00, low tide rising at CK. 57F, NE wind, 7 knts. ducks in the tide. overcast. worked on the water from corrigan's reef to atsena otie with several sets centered around scale key which has an eagle's nest and a wrecked sail boat. low catches at almost every site. the stingrays are beginning to congregate in the back bogs. the muddiest site yielded almost 30 stingrays; 2/3rds were male. mullet, silver perch, and trout made up one catch. the comb jellies are back. white pelicans and ducks - scaups, buffleheads, and 1 horned grebe. sun came out at noon. water temps, 14.5C, 59F. a light chop. ended up with leaky waders and soaked socks. otherwise, a beautiful brisk day..
15:20, high tide falling at #4 bridge. 72F, east wind, 7 knts. fed lab cat. headed home.
16:30, 74F at back door. slight breeze from south. got 1 egg. lambs hungry.
18;00, 68f, mostly clear. stars out. jupiter bright in the east. nice to see the stars gleaming. fog and clouds this winter have been impeding the star gazing.
