07:20, 45F, partly cloudy. red sunrise with salmon clouds. lamb bottles heating. locked up yellow dogs. a friend is supposed to come over and cut firewood. roosters up. young dogs ran off into the cactus field. in kitchen now. feeling tired. cold out. house cold but kitchen warm!
13:20, 70F at back door in the sun. more cloudy than sunny. a do-nothing day. waited for wood cutter all day but no show. he did get in touch about this though. let yellow dogs out of pen. got 2 eggs. all lambs out of creep and traveling with the flock. hoping for the best.
17:30, 61F, overcast. chilly north breeze. gathered firewood before chores. 4 deer in donkey woodlot at sunset. lambs agitating for bottles.
19:40, 58F, overcast. fire fading away from lack of wood. no stars. yellow dogs and guardian barking.
