06:40, 62F, overcast. got some rain last night. dixie at back door. pup out. going down to barn with bottle. guard dog in hay barn and dry. usually she sits out in the rain and gets soaked. guardians don't care if it's raining or not.
97L49, 62F, overcast, foggy, and mizzling.. lambs damp and wandering after mom. caught mom and locked them up again. they inhaled the bottle. both are nursing off mom but she does not have a a lot of milk. radar shows rain in gulf. do not want the twins to get soaked or left out in the pasture. new mom, jane, keeps her lamb close and dry.
10:05, low tide rising at CK. dark to the west. low to mid 60's, NE wind 5-10 knts. washed, dried, mended, and stored a bait seine. washed boats and gear. general meeting.
15:20, high tide at #4 bridge, raining. ducks in the tide. white pelicans in the distance. on 345, mature bald eagle and crows picking over the ribs of a road-killed deer flew into a pine when I passed.
15:50, farm did not get the downpour that I drove through. did get some rain. hoping enough to get that rye seed sprouting. got 3 eggs.
17:50, 60F, dark early. chilly northerly breeze. mostly cloudy. only planes showing. no stars, etc.
