o6:30, 47F, foggy. gunshots from the north.. hope they missed. dogs all disappeared. (chicken dogs.) roosters crowing. crows carrying on. yesterday's late wash damp on the line. brats for breakfast..
wish I could take the week off but it's not possible. this morning would be perfect for a little fire in the fireplace and a good cup of coffee and a book.
10:30, low tide falling at CK. 59F, NE wind, 7 knts. herons. ibis on a mudbank. truck problems, off to andy's. boatyard cat sunning out on the concrete. follows me to the big net. partly to mostly cloudy. some sun. chilly breeze. wind switched to NW at 10 knts. and intruded on the west facing back of the lab where the nets get mended. verged on being cold. almost to the first turn and the orange corks. cat sleeping on mended net.
15:30, medium tide rising. more ibis. nagging andy to look at truck. news not good. might have radiator leak. and something else that I can only point to.. crap.
17:00, finally back at farm. partly cloudy, 63F, sunset cranking up. dogs out. chores. take the dry wash in. pretty pink clouds.
18:00, flock-of-sheep clouds with waxing crescent moon appearing and disappearing.
20:10, 61F, overcast. dark.
