06:50, 69F, overcast. not a star or planet to be seen. yellow dogs at back door. roosters been crowing for hours. an owl, hooing, early this morning, around 4. young dogs out playing and growling.. fried fish for breakfast. despite the damp, a wash was hung out to dry.
10:10, overcast and drizzly. 3rd year bald eagle on some road kill with 2 buzzards circling..
10:30, high slack tide at CK. 75F, NE wind, 10, knts. great egrets out fishing in the spartina.
finished mending trawl. washed and laid out to dry the trawl that was tore up on tuesday at econfina.. tomorrow mending might happen. continued work on the 600' seine with help from one of the crew.
16:05, low tide at #4 bridge with ibis and snowy egrets poking around on the mud flats. 82F, NE wind 15 knts. with gusts to 18. not much water to be choppy. flock of turkeys in a pasture. some cows lying down..
17:40, clouding up at the farm. breezy on and off. dry laundry got taken in. dog walks.
19:30, 75F, mostly cloudy, east wind moving clouds around. waxing gibbous almost full moon high in the east.
