February 12, 2012 -
It's been a wonderful night watching the Grammy's so far.
Chicagoland is expecting just a bit of snow tomorrow night and into Tuesday; two inches and possibly more S. of I-80. Warmed up today to almost 40 here.
The rest of the week looks smooooth, like that Beach Boys get-together performance, and Adele!! (wow she nailed it) tonight.

Big plans ahead at the end of the month and first days of March. It's time--time--Time for a Road Trip! Going to Oklahoma to see our daughter, and taking the scenic route.

No real route decisions have been made, but we're pretty sure we're gonna trip Route 66! From Chi to OKC (as best we can, within logic ;)

Please, add thoughts, memories, stops you recommend (largest ball of twine...lol, etc...).

For sure there will be photos, and whackiness traveling with hubby and I, 1807 miles (round trip). And, of course, there will be weather, and weather related stops, among other things.

We will be attending the National Severe Weather Workshop for 3 of the days in Norman, too. This is not only an interest of mine, but is something related to my husband's job, as well. Not required, but voluntary extra education.

Again, add any ideas for travel. We are planning to stay in the Ozarks, on the way down and ??? On the way back. Soooooo, put your drivin songs on, get a full tank of gas and grab the sunglasses! Let's get ready to roll!
