Eye on the sky for Chi later tonight/tomorrow

April 5: Will change the blog later when I get a chance, but for now there is a threat of some storms later this afternoon and possibly tomorrow. Does everyone in IL have their handy dandy NOAA radio all set up? Or try to get alerts to your phone so you can be safe :)

March 30: Back home and settling down from the trip. Getting warmer each day here. I thoroughly expected Easter week to have snow and cold this year because it is early, but pleasantly suprised with a forecast of 60. Prayers for all those experiencing rain and flooding. We feel your pain and hope everyone will dry out soon.

I'm going to leave the road trip up until I come up with a new blog and since it was recent.

March 24: Taking a road trip to Atlanta to get the items we collected down to the Portlight warehouse. My brother can't go, but would like to mention he collected a lot of crutches, walkers, resperators, etc...from the Village of Buffalo Grove, IL residents. Kudos Adam and thank you Buffalo Grove and McHenry area contributors!!!

Tim and I will make the trip with the SUV and a trailer load. It's not a huge amount of stuff, but too big to ship.

We should have fun on this short get away. I don't know about posting from my phone after the last fiasco (triple, double, posting brew ha ha!) so I'll try to post if I can and let 'ya know how the 'road trip' is going.
:)
(p.s. no pekingnese this time, but I may buy me some of those deer whistles! Do those work? Remember the trip at Thanksgiving we took with Tim's parents, their pampered pekingnese and we almost hit a deer? Oh My Goodness, those poor mush faced dogs! They were fine, though)
Ramble, Scramble...lots to do!
