Short term(Today-Monday morning)

Today there will be some chances for afternoon showers today. High temperature will be around 92F. This is around the average temperature for this time of the year. The GFS mos model was a little conservative with forecasting temperatures for today with the high temperature. For tonight the low will be around 73F. Sunday's highs will be around 88F with some afternoon showers again. Sunday night Monday morning lows will be around 73F. Currently there is a Flood warning for the Ochlockenee river until Wednesday. Minor flooding is projected to be foretasted and the flood stage is 25ft and the stage is projected to be 25.7ft and will fall back to 25ft.

Long Term(Monday afternoon-Friday)

The current NAM and GFS models are in current agreement with precipitation next week. Next week will have some afternoon showers each day during the long term period. With this type of forecast projected there is a chance that the flood warning may be extended next week. Given the fact that we have more rain coming than the soil can absorb it is likely that there may be some localized flooding as well from the previous month. Temperatures during this period will be close to average for this time of the year which is around 92F.

Short Term(Today-Tuesday morning)

Currently there is some instability in the area that will bring showers. On the surface there is a high pressure system in the are but mid and upper level disturbances will cause some showers to be in the area for today. Temperatures for today will be around 85F in the afternoon and for tonight lows will be around 75F for Sunday night/Monday morning. The high temperature is about 5 degrees below average for this time of the year and this can be attributed to the cloud cover and rain that is affecting our area. The low temperature is slightly above average for this time of the year. Again the cloud cover can affect low temperatures as well. Highs for Monday will be around 87F. Again this is slightly below averages for this time of the year. Lows for Monday night/Tuesday morning will be around 75F again.

Long Term(Tuesday afternoon-Friday)

Current NAM and GFS models are in agreement for weather patterns next week. Next week will be mostly the same as the last with rain showers dominating the period. At this moment the showers are mostly from offshore flow from the sea breeze front. Temperatures during this period will be below average around 85-88F during the long term period.
