Short Term(Today-Monday Morning)

Today a disturbance will come through the southeast United States but it will bring some cloud cover to the area today. Highs for today will be around 86F. This is very close to the average temperature for this time of the year. Tonight lows will be around 65F which is around normal for this time of the year as well. Sunday the High will be around 88F. Sunday night/Monday morning will be around 65 again for this night. This short term period will be dominated by dry conditions and abundance of clouds.

Long Term(Monday Afternoon-Friday)

Current NAM and GFS models are in slight agreement for the long term period. Wednesday a cold front is projected to enter the area and bring more precipitation to the area. Temperatures during the period will range from mid 80s in the daytime and mid 60s in the morning and nighttime. These temperatures are around average for this time of the year.

Short Term(Today-Monday Morning)

The short term period starts out with an incoming cold front bringing rain today. Some storms may be strong and have lighting and thunder. Today's high will be around 80F and the lows for tonight will be around 65F. The low will be slightly above average for this time of the year while the high will be slightly below average for this time of the year. Tomorrow highs are predicted to be around 82F after the passage of the frontal system. This high is a few degrees below average for this time of the year. Sunday night/Monday morning lows will be around 48F. This low temperature will be significantly below the average for May. This temperature will be close to record breaking for this time of the year.


Long Term(Monday afternoon-Friday)

The long term period will be dominated by an incoming ridge that will cause pleasant weather to be in the Tallahassee area. Both the NAM and GFS models are in agreement for the incoming week. GFS model predicts an incoming disturbance for Friday but the development will be tracked as the week progresses. Temperatures during this period will be around seasonal averages which is in the mid 80s at this time.

Short Term(Today-Monday morning)
Today there is a system in the area bringing rain that has a unique formation. Highs for today will be around 68F and lows will be around 50F. These temperatures are below average for this time of the year. With cloud cover from the system is can be expected for temperatures to be below average. This system is projected to leave the area during the overnight hours and bring drier conditions on Sunday. Highs on Sunday will be around 75F and the lows for Sunday night/Monday morning will be around 55F. The low will still be below average for this time of the year.

Long Term(Monday afternoon-Friday)

Currently the GFS model is slightly more aggressive than the NAM model at this point in time for weather events on Monday. There will be some precipitation arriving to the area around Monday evening with the 12Z model run. This system will be fast moving so it is expected to clear the area by Tuesday morning. On Wednesday evening there is another chance for rain in the area. There is also a chance for rain on Thursday and Friday as well. With temperatures close to normal for May these storms may be convective. Temperatures will be around average for this time of the year which is around 85F except for Monday. Highs for this day will be around 78F.
