I REALLY DO LOVE WEATHER

This has been a fantastic weather week in the Bay Area. Blue skies, mild temps, low humidity. I wish it could be like this all year round...(except of course in Oct., Nov. and Dec. I prefer those months to be seasonal!)

Soon the wildflowers will be in full bloom and smiles from even the grumpiest of people will be seen. Can't wait for the strawberries too! I think straberries make grumpy people smile too =)

I am putting my widgets here in the header for anyone who cares to listen. Musically, my life is becoming more exciting. I guess you can never be too old to embark on a new path!

Another year has come and gone.
A year filled with ups, downs, and sideways.
Attended my high school reunion. Reconnected with old friends, and made new ones. Married off a daughter!
No major purchases this year, as we have been playing frugal family. And with that, I think I have finally learned I am not cooking for an army anymore. =)

Four years is a long time.
I no longer have 27 windows. We moved nearly two years ago after my Dad died. Only three of us left, as my other children left the nest. So, it seemed like a good time to downsize. We are happy here =)

Yes, I am still a non-smoker. I was asked the other day when I have my worst cravings. The answer was my first morning cup of coffee, and when I am on the phone, but even that is not so bad anymore. I am now at a point where I say to myself, "I used to smoke at this or that time, and now I don't". I cannot encourage anyone considering quitting enough. Please try...even if you have tried before and didn't stop. :)Now, to THE SANDWICHMy husband....an amazing man...

Hello all :)Spring has sprung in S.E. Texas. I am cigarette free about 45 days. I honestly lost count, but I know I quit in early February. This is great!Almost time for this!Poor Nana.....
