A cold frontal boundary will continue to shift across the European Mainland on Friday, while a ridge of high pressure will build over southeastern Europe.
A cold front will shift eastward over a handful of European countries on Friday, as rain and snow will accompany the frontal boundary. During the morning, this system will bring a chance of rain to the United Kingdom, Portugal, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Denmark, while a mixture of rain and snow will push across parts of Norway and Sweden. London can expect early morning rain and partly cloudy skies for the remainder of the day with a high of 54(F)/ 12(C). As this system continues to propagate eastward, it will usher light scattered showers over parts of eastern France, Germany, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Finland. Berlin will be mostly cloudy with a high of 69(F)/ 20(C), while Paris will be rainy with a high of 58(F)/ 14(C).
An area of low pressure will follow this frontal boundary and bring moderate rain and gusty winds to parts of Ireland and the United Kingdom during Friday afternoon. A mixture of heavy rain and snow will also impact western Norway. Dublin can expect showers with a high of 49(F)/ 9(C).
Southeastern Europe will stay clear of wet weather as a ridge of high pressure builds to the south of Italy. Athens will be sunny with a high of 65(F)/ 18(C).
