The rainbands of yesterday stayed primarily in the western provinces, with the following accumulations in mm:
Today there will be some lingering, widespread showers, but nowhere near the coverage and intensity of yesterday. Showers will be more prevalent in mountainous areas. Temperatures, however, will remain unseasonably cool, about 10 C below the norms for the day. Winds will be weaker than yesterday. There will be a slow warmup toward early next week, but high temperatures will remain 5-10 degrees cooler than experienced before yesterday's storm.
