Delicate Cherry (dragonflyF15)
Sometimes I miss working in a public garden to work with massive displays. Then again, I like my creative small intimate gardens too :)

Finally the rain stopped and I had some more strawberries to pick! Yummie with the frozen yougart!

Hey great to see you!
Oh strawberries and yogurt. Okay, strawberries and just about everything.
Have you ever made your own yogurt? Not real cost effective but lots of fun to carefully cook it, keep it warm but not too hot and viola! a big bowl of home made something. Kind of the same thrill that comes with growing your own veggies only a lot quicker.

Surfmom! Those look so good! More interesting things I have no idea how to grow! I got to pick some more strawberries last night and looks like it's loaded for more picking by this weekend! Just have to beat those darn squirrels!

It seems like everyone is getting rain but us! WE need it too! Our marine layer just cleared up about 30 minutes ago, so that means outside time for me.

Thanks so much for your suggestions with my tomato plant. I'm glad your back :) I'll need your advice!

Shore: As an elective I took a whole design class based off of Monet. I love his use of mosaic, carefree, yet not too wild look :)

Oak: It's good to be back! Been trying so hard to make somethings work and sometimes you just have to toss it all up to the sky and hope for the best.

Aub: Too funny! Gotta love those fros!

Blizzard: I'll have to check your blog out and see how your garden is coming along :)

After getting pounded last night, we have had another 2 inches today, all in an hour. We are currently under another monsoon and be interesting to see how much came down in the last 15 minutes. I like long slow rains...not this flash flood stuff that just washes everything away.

Guess I'll be potting up containers for the deck in the garage tonight...

Oh, hooray! I saw my first dragonfly flitting around last week and thought about you. I'd presumed you were putting in the same kind of work hours I was for a time, but whatever the reason for your absence, welcome back! Loved your trees entry, by the way.

I'm grabbing a quick lunch before taking mom to the dr. - glad I peeked in. I've been thinking and writing a bit about gardens myself, especially Monet's garden. I didn't realize he was such a horticulturalist, or that he had created a private garden on what really was a public scale. I'm so excited - one of my readers will be traveling there this summer!

Hope life is blooming all around you!
