tropical system this weekend in Maryland?

It looks like we might be getting some needed rain by way of a tropical system later this weekend. A system in the Gulf is likely to form soon, and the current model data places it's track through MD. If this does verify, it would affect us later this weekend. Since the storm will be travelling over land, we will most likely experience lots of heavy rain and some wind. Its way too early for details, but I wanted to keep you posted. I will have updates as the week progresses.
