As you may notice for the PWS Herning Nordvest, Herning, which I operate, some data have gone rather bizarre since yesterday. I have corrected as much as possible but air pressure remains a mystery at a rather insane value. The reason? Herning was just on the outskirts of a passing thunderstorm last night..probably THE THUNDERSTORM of the year 2008 in Denmark, with over 10.000 lightning strikes recorded in a few hours as the storm came in from north-western Germany, passing over central Denmark on it's way to Sweden. The activity wasn't all that great in Herning, but there were a few close strikes, among them the "bad luck strike of the year" which did not only cut power to the weather station for some time, but also reset all data and settings. Some data now seem faulty, even if the station should be back and running normally. I hope this does not mean investing in a whole new station reciever unit...
