Un occupé Royaume Bonjour ensoleillé et chaud ! Selon le docteur sage des conditions météorologiques, Dr Masters, le jet est coincé une fois de plus et plus de façon extrême, a-t-il expliqué. Vous âmes malheureuses dans les climats du Nord devez continuer à faire l'expérience de plus de glace. Cela a causé grand embarras pour le rongeur américain qui prédit la météo qui a été dit. Je vais bien merci. J'ai apprécié une journée à la plage après le dentiste. La température de l'air est 27.2222 C et la température de l'eau est 24.4444 c. J'ai nagé sur un quart de mile, et aussi beaucoup apprécié la vue d'une baleine, déversant sa douve hors de l'eau et le saut. C'était une journée magnifique... même le voyage chez le dentiste c'était amusant. J'ai eu ma nouvelle couronne placée. Il est monté comme un gant ! I have to write in English, as I am outraged!!!lol That link you posted must have been written by an American!! It was definitely not written by Brit! Many are correct, but others are glaringly wrong. They have used slang words, not used in polite society and are actually offensive to a "lady" lol :) For instance - Number 10 - a kiss is a kiss - snog is slang for a "not pleasant" kiss, forced on you by an unwanted suitor! Number 12 - it is actually spelt wrong too... knickers is an old fashioned word. It comes from a novel called "The History of New York" by Diedrich Knickerbocker, supposedly a Dutchman living in New York. In Britain the illustrations for the book showed a Dutchman wearing long, loose fitting garments on his lower body. When men wore loose trousers for sport they were sometimes called knickerbockers. However women's underwear were soon called knickerbockers too. In the late 19th century the word was shortened to knickers" Today we say pants or underwear, you never hear anyone refer to them as "knickers" anymore Number 23 - quid - is actually not 'money' at all... it is the slang term for ONE POUND. Money is money or we say "cash". Number 27 - bog roll is a slang term, never heard in 'nice' homes! lol We call it toilet paper or probably loo-roll as the term for a toilet has become acceptably known as 'a loo'.... "It is thought to be derived from the trade name 'Waterloo', which appeared on the iron cisterns in many British outhouses during the early 20th century." I could pull holes in other terms..... eg. we call sweaters - sweaters, as well as jumpers ... post is only the term applied to the "Post office or post box", we say mail for everything else... The clouds are back and it looks like rain may be here instead of the sun. We have received almost an inch of rain the last week or so. Very welcome rain! Hope we get some more...the car can wait.
